Newbie with Questions

From: Sandra (sandrajohnson01@yahoo.com) | Date: 2004-09-21 12:25:12 UTC-07:00

Hi!! My name is Sandra. I am in North AL. I just
heard about this a few days ago. I am so excited
about this. I think this will be a fun activity for
my whole family.
My questions:
What are hitch hikers?
What kind of paper is best for my box and for my pad
that is carried with me on a hunt?
What are you using to carry your supplies in on the
hunt?

Thanks!!
Sandra

In answer to your question about the bag to carry things in...when my daughter was born I bought the Lands End Baby Backpack knowing my hubby wouldn't be interested in carrying around a bag with little critters in pastel colors on it! The bag came with a nice mat for changing and a pouch for the changing supplies. Well, as Lands End things last forever, we still have the backpack and use it for loads of things, most recently..letterboxing, but the other items have floated around the house over the past several years (daughter is almost 6 now). The other day I cam across the changing pad and thought it would be a great surface to either sit on on the trail or spread all the boxing supplies on while stamping in...when you find a HH it can be confusing! And the pouch hold my log book, stamps and pads very nicely, with space for wipes to clean the stamps off! Whoo Hoo! Love to find uses for old things!

Not long ago, I started carrying around that changing pad thing too. It's great. It rolls up and can fit in one of the bottle holder areas for a quick pullout.
